Job summary

Adecco are recruiting a Senior Network Engineer for Merseyside Police, Rosehill, Liverpool. You will provide hands-on enterprise network support, troubleshooting and project delivery in a dynamic public-sector environment.

The role requires FortiGate firewall experience, LAN/WAN, data centre networking, and routing/switching knowledge. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office is offered, at a daily rate of £470 for 6 months.

Qualifications

• Hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Ability to provide BAU support and project involvement.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support, maintenance, and proactive monitoring of network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service degradations, and outages with root cause analysis.
• Implement approved network changes, firewall administration, and security controls.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, server, and security teams on networking projects.
