Job summary

An IT consulting firm in Greater London is looking for a Mid-Senior level Network Engineer for a contract position lasting 12+ months. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls and excellent understanding of firewall architecture. Qualifications

• Mid-Senior level candidate with strong hands-on networking experience.
• Demonstrable experience in firewall architecture and configuration.
• Knowledge of Python and GIT for automation would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Craft and own design documentation.
• Apply network automation techniques for firewall management.

Skills

Fortinet NSE4 certification

Hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls

Understanding of firewall policies and address objects

Experience in High Level and Low Level Design documentation

Good understanding of NAT and dynamic routing (BGP)

Knowledge of routing and switching (Nokia SROS/Cisco)
