Job summary

Optec, a leading Network and Security specialist, is hiring a Network & Security Engineer to deliver customer projects across Fortinet technologies. This hands-on role emphasises technical delivery, design review and mentoring within a Professional Services team.

You will work on enterprise firewall deployments, Secure SD-WAN, switching and cloud networking, with occasional UK travel. A strong Fortinet background is essential.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience delivering complex network and security projects.
• Strong practical experience designing, deploying and troubleshooting FortiGate firewalls.
• Experience with FortiManager based configuration and policy management.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of enterprise and multi-site projects.
• Lead the design, deployment and migration of Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Secure SD-WAN).
• Produce high-quality designs, plans and handover packs.
