Lomond Group is hiring a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to be the hands-on HR presence for managers across a multi-site patch in Yorkshire & Scotland. You will handle everyday casework and provide strategic workforce insight to leadership, including ER matters, change activity, and performance initiatives.

Reporting to the Group Head of People Experience, the role combines office-based and branch-based work, offering flexibility and a focus on data-driven HR decisions to support growth

Qualifications

• Significant HR Business Partnering experience in a fast paced, multi-site or operationally led business.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on organisational performance and people strategy.
• Hands-on experience leading change, restructures, TUPE or cultural integration.
• Ability to turn complex people data into clear, commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues on people matters, resolving issues in real time.
• Build relationships with branch and operational managers to spot problems early.
• Work on ER casework from probation and absence to disciplinary and grievance; escalate complex cases.
• Coach managers through difficult conversations to lead people matters effectively.
• Support colleagues directly, resolving concerns before escalation.
• Provide hands-on support through change activity, including restructures, TUPE or acquisition integration.
• Flag people risk and compliance issues promptly, keeping accurate records for your patch.
• Turn people data into workforce analytics that inform decisions at Executive and Board level.
