Job summary

MBDA UK is seeking an engineering professional with a strong eye for detail to manage product data and configuration controls. You will work in a close team to support key MBDA products and develop your configuration skills toward professional accreditation.

The role requires experience in configuration management within defence/aerospace, with BOM interpretation and governance of documentation. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with on-site presence required 2–3 days per week.

Qualifications

Background in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management within Defence or Aerospace.
Experience interpreting Bills of Materials for large complex assemblies.
Knowledge of Configuration Management documentation used to govern project activities.
Experience implementing engineering design changes across multi-stakeholder environments.
Ability to support audits on suppliers and ensure governance of CM processes.
Strong teamwork and communication to collaborate with peers and stakeholders.
Experience with PTC Windchill as a Product Lifecycle Management tool is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to key MBDA products through configuration data management.
Develop configuration skills and work towards professional accreditation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate BOMs and data integrity.
