Job summary

MBDA in the United Kingdom is seeking an engineering professional with a keen eye for detail and experience in controlling product data. You will work within a close team to apply configuration control to Bill of Materials and ensure accurate data management for key MBDA products.

You will have the opportunity to develop your configuration skills and pursue professional accreditation while supporting change control and supplier audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Management within defence/aerospace or similar, with governance and control of projects.
• Ability to interpret technical data and Bills of Materials for large, complex assemblies.
• Familiar with Configuration Management concepts and documentation used in audits and change control.
• Experience managing engineering design changes across multi-stakeholder environments and presenting changes in meetings.
• Ability to support supplier audits and ensure CM processes are followed across supply chains.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with stakeholders and peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to key MBDA business products using your configuration data expertise.
• Develop configuration skills and work toward professional accreditation.
• Assist in governance of engineering data, drawings and CAD models.
