Job summary

Aviva plc in the UK is seeking a Senior Conduct & Compliance Manager to provide independent second line compliance support across Aviva's IWR business. The role focuses on regulatory risk, governance, and strategic initiatives to deliver good customer outcomes.

You'll partner with senior stakeholders, challenge propositions where needed, and influence risk-based decisions while ensuring regulatory requirements are embedded across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance risk management, conduct risk, governance frameworks and regulatory change.
• Excellent judgement and decision making in high-risk or ambiguous situations with pragmatic advice.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders and regulators.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including committee papers and regulatory briefings.
• Experience supporting strategic and regulatory change is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line compliance support to Aviva's Insurance, Wealth & Retirement (IWR) business.
• Advise senior leaders on strategic initiatives, governance, regulatory developments and decisions.
• Strengthen the control environment and support regulator engagement.
• Balance customer, commercial and regulatory considerations with independent challenge.
