Job summary

Netcompany invites applications for a Senior AI Engineer to lead the development and deployment of ML/AI solutions across client projects. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers and consultants from data preparation to production monitoring.

Role emphasizes MLOps, governance, and ethical AI, with mentorship of junior team members. Hybrid working and a broad benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and C#. SQL or R is a plus.
• Experience with Cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of algorithms: regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, k-means, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting.
• Understanding of model evaluation and explainability concepts (overfitting, bias, cross-validation).
• Experience developing and implementing end-to-end observability and monitoring for AI.
• Experience working with large, complex, or messy datasets.
• Understanding of public sector challenges, data, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Solution Development: Design and implement data science and AI solutions translating requirements into components.
• Modelling & Analysis: Apply ML techniques to analyze data and solve business problems under guidance.
• Production & MLOps: Build, test, and deploy ML models; maintain MLOps pipelines for scalability.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ethical AI & Governance: Apply responsible AI principles and governance standards.
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior data scientists and engineers.
