Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Security Presales Systems Engineer to shape secure, cutting-edge solutions for customers. This technical pre‑sales role focuses on HPE's security portfolio, including SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, AI‑driven security, and cloud‑native architectures.

You will lead workshops, deliver technical demos, and partner with sales to position solutions. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical pre-sales or solution engineering in cybersecurity, networking, or cloud.
• Strong knowledge of SASE, SSE, Zero Trust, and related security technologies.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, IPsec, BGP, etc.).
• Experience with IAM technologies (SSO, SAML, OAuth, MFA, RBAC).
• Hands-on with public clouds (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, design, and architecture workshops for secure, scalable customer solutions.
• Position and demonstrate HPE security portfolio to customers and executives.
• Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and PoCs as the technical lead during the sales cycle.
• Engage with CISOs and IT leaders on cybersecurity strategy and trends.
• Produce security questionnaires and technical documentation for proposals.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ensure successful implementations.
• Build trusted relationships and support deal outcomes through cross-functional teamwork.
