Job summary

Capgemini in Inverness is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the Security Engineering Team. You’ll monitor security tools, respond to incidents, and triage requests with a focus on safeguarding client IT infrastructure across hybrid environments.

This role requires strong knowledge of security tooling (MS Defender, Sentinel, Email Gateway, SIEM, IDPS, GVM) and practical experience in DLP deployment, security policy tuning, and client engagement in an IT outsourcing context.

Qualifications

• Understanding of security threats and network technologies in an IT outsourcing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client engagement and time management.
• Experience implementing and managing an enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution.
• Experience with MS Cloud Security including Email Gateway, Sentinel, Defender, and E5 licensing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of client IT infrastructures and follow IT Service Management Principles.
• Maintain Security Toolkit Infrastructure and support tools including Microsoft Security Stack, Email Gateway, SIEM, IDPS, GVM and Malware Protection.
• Record health alerts and respond to security incidents; tune policies as needed.
