Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting a Scheduling Supervisor to support Home Carers delivering care across the council area. You will plan and allocate workloads, use IT systems, and work to a roster that includes early and back shifts and weekends.

The role is blended hybrid, combining office and home working, with a salary of £20.66–£21.25 per hour for a 29-hour week and additional pay for unsocial hours. Training will be provided to support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling and coordinating home care services.
• Ability to work with IT programmes.
• Commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work a roster including early/back shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling and allocation of work for Home Carers.
• Use IT systems and manage rostering.
• Support vulnerable people in the community Council wide.
• Cover all localities in the service.
