Eutelsat is seeking a System Engineer to own system requirements for our next-generation satellite system and the IRIS2 project, coordinating with commercial teams and external suppliers. You will translate business needs into precise, verifiable requirements, ensure traceability, and work with internal engineering groups to define achievable solutions.

This role supports the IRIS2 programme for the European Commission.

Formación

• Experience using a formal requirements management tool on large projects.
• Background in Communications Systems, satellite or terrestrial.
• Degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, CS, or related.
• Experience with 5G systems and 3GPP/5G jargon.
• Customer facing experience selling connectivity services.
• Engineer facing experience building a connectivity system.

Responsabilidades

• Own the System Requirements document for IRIS2 and OW Next System.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to stakeholder needs.
• Contribute to the top-level system design.
• Document the functional breakdown and arbitrate trade-offs.
• Coordinate Verification and Validation activities with teams.
• Collaborate with integration teams and external suppliers.
