Job summary

Stoke-on-Trent City Council's Adolescent Services is seeking a highly organized Child Exploitation and MACE Coordinator to join the team, safeguarding children at risk and coordinating MACE arrangements with partners.

You will analyse intelligence, chair meetings, provide guidance, and help shape contextual safeguarding, working with social care, police, health, education and community partners; hybrid and flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating safeguarding or multi-agency processes.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of child exploitation and contextual safeguarding.
• Proficient with digital systems and data management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operation of MACE, ensuring information sharing and decisions across partners.
• Analyse safeguarding data to identify risks and patterns of exploitation.
• Chair and support multi-agency meetings and track actions.
• Provide guidance on exploitation and contextual safeguarding to professionals.
• Develop systems and reports to support safeguarding and service improvement.
• Collaborate with children, families and partners to improve outcomes.
