Job summary

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a Missing, Vulnerable and Exploited (MVE) Co-ordinator to join the Contextual Safeguarding and Exploitation Team (CSET). You will manage missing children cases and deliver 1-2-1 preventative and intervention sessions designed to challenge attitudes and raise aspirations for those at risk of CSE, CCE or gang involvement, in close collaboration with social workers.

The post requires an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, strong contextual safeguarding knowledge, DBS

Qualifications

• Contextual safeguarding experience with young people.
• Experience of CSE/CCE and gang involvement.
• Knowledge of PREVENT strategy and multi‑agency safeguarding panels.
• Experience in missing children work and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage missing children cases and maintain a small caseload.
• Deliver 1‑to‑1 prevention and intervention sessions to challenge attitudes and raise aspirations.
• Share intelligence with multi‑agency partners to influence care planning.
• Work collaboratively with First Response, CIN and CLA teams to safeguard vulnerable youth.
