William James Recruitment is seeking an RTA Litigation Paralegal for a Manchester team in a leading national firm. You will manage a mixed Fast Track and Small Claims caseload, handling motor injury claims and liability disputes, while working within a supportive, technical team.

The role offers hybrid working and a salary up to £34,000, with opportunities for progression, training and benefits including pension and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims caseload.
• Solid knowledge of MOJ and OIC portals.
• Experience handling Credit Hire claims.
• Good understanding of CPR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of litigated RTA Fast Track and Small Claims matters.
• Handle personal injury, credit hire and complex liability disputes.
• Conduct investigations into liability, quantum and evidence.
• Draft pleadings, letters and settlement documents.
• Work with MOJ and OIC portals.
• Liaise with clients, opponents and third parties.
• Prepare files for hearings and progress cases efficiently.
• Support senior fee earners on more complex matters.
