Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Cumbria is seeking a Risk Manager to implement and maintain effective risk management arrangements across a major project pipeline. You will identify, assess and report risks to support successful delivery and keep stakeholders informed.

Based in Moor Row, the role offers a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote, requiring a clear commute to Cumbria. You will work with Risk Owners, run risk workshops and provide data-driven insights to project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or programme risk management.
• Knowledge of risk management methodologies and tools.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence and support effective decision-making across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Project Risk Management Plan with the Project Manager.
• Implement and maintain project risk management systems and tools.
• Support Risk Owners in managing and maintaining the project risk register.
• Conduct quantitative risk analysis and provide risk-based insights.
• Facilitate risk reviews and workshops, including Gateway stage reviews.
• Ensure project risk data is accurate, current and complete.
• Support suppliers in the identification, assessment and treatment of risks.
• Report lessons learned and risk management findings to the PPP Programme Risk Manager.
• Manage the workload and development of the Project Risk Practitioner.
• Provide risk reports and advice to the Project Manager and project stakeholders as required.
