Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a gatekeeper for UKPI risk, consulted on material issues across operational teams. You will support assurance testing, validation, MI preparation, and contribute to governance forums.

Qualifications

• Significant related work experience in governance and risk.
• Experience in risk management is preferred.
• Familiarity with first-line risk management processes (RCSA, ICARA, risk events).
• Familiarity with FCA regulatory rulebooks.
• Ability to apply AI tools for analysis, decision-making and risk management.
• Ability to communicate complex information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Governance oversight of risks and issues at the first-line level for UKPI.
• Identify and remediate risks and control gaps through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with operational teams and second-line functions to align reporting standards.
• Contribute to risk reporting at European and global levels (Top Risks, ICARA, Issues Management).
• Support design and implementation of internal risk and control framework.
• Provide consultation and analytical support for audits and risk mitigation.
