Job summary

Eventus Legal in Birkenhead is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its conveyancing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers a salary of £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience, with hybrid working after an initial 1–3 month office-based training period.

You will manage a mixed caseload of residential sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold properties, with guidance and support from a Paralegal or Assistant.

Qualifications

• Qualified as Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEx.
• Experience handling residential freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of residential sales and purchases, including freehold and leasehold properties.
• Investigate title, conduct searches, draft reports and respond to enquiries.
• Handle remortgages, transfers of equity and equity release matters where required.
• Liaise with clients, lenders and brokers throughout the transaction and progress to completion.
• Keep accurate files using case management systems and supervise junior staff.
