Kaluza is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Engineering team in the UK. The role is hybrid (three days a week in the office) with production responsibilities across modern stacks including TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Scala, and Python.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in at least one modern stack.
• Comfort reading and understanding code you didn’t write.
• Clear written communication for PRs and docs.

Responsibilities

• Build real product features from your first weeks and ship to production.
• Work across the stack over time, depending on team needs.
• Build with AI coding agents and review their output carefully.
• Learn and monitor the systems you run, including on-call awareness.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to improve the product.
• Improve team practices with tests, docs, and shared context.
