Job summary

South Yorkshire Police is recruiting a Recruitment Manager to lead the recruitment and selection service across a range of roles, including police officer, staff, and volunteers. You will plan and deliver large campaigns, align activity with workforce needs and budgets, and provide strategic direction to the team.

Reporting to the HR Operations Lead, you will drive performance, oversee promotions, and ensure a fair, professional candidate experience while supporting the organisation’s priorities

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume recruitment campaigns.
• Line management experience.
• Experience of working with hiring managers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• - Maintain a forward recruitment and promotions plan and coordinate campaigns.
• - Provide operational leadership to a recruitment team and ensure quality and timeliness.
• - Lead police officer promotion processes with fair, transparent delivery.
• - Operate on an agile basis from multiple locations including hybrid/remote work.
