Job summary

Network Rail is seeking a Project Planner to develop and maintain robust project schedules for rail infrastructure programmes from Paddington, London. You will work closely with project managers, engineers and suppliers to ensure milestones, dependencies and risks are accurately reflected in the plan.

The role requires advanced MSP and Primavera P6 skills, experience in complex technical projects, and the ability to challenge delivery assumptions while maintaining schedule baselines.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in MSP and Primavera P6 for complex schedules.
• Experience delivering detailed technical and infrastructure project plans.
• Strong ability to identify and manage dependencies and risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed project schedules and baselines.
• Translate engineering requirements into clear, actionable plans with WBS and milestones.
• Identify, map and manage internal and external dependencies and critical path.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to validate durations and constraints.
• Perform critical path analysis and schedule scenario planning to accelerate delivery.
