Novus Property Solutions in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join fast-track refurbishments across Leisure, Education and Retail sectors. Hybrid working with office/home/site visits; some national travel and overnight stays will apply.

You will obtain and evaluate information to ensure realistic costs, manage procurement and sub-contractor payments, and report on cost/ time variations in a live project environment.

Formación

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Education, Retail or Leisure Refurbishment/Fast Fit environments.
• Knowledge of JCT forms of contract preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence as travel is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.
• Develop procurement programme from handover to estimating.
• Manage sub-contractors from procurement to mobilisation, reviewing variations and certs.
• Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
• Submit monthly applications for payment to the Client/representative.
• Prepare monthly cost valuation reports and invoices for payment.
• Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors.
• Liaise with Contract Managers to define project requirements.
• Attend meetings and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Monitor contract progress and report changes affecting cost or time.
• Assist in controlling project budgets.
