Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Northern team in Warrington. The successful candidate will provide pre and post-contract QS services across diverse sectors, while developing responsibility for their own projects.

The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), with a salary of £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, and a strong path for career progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction environment.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline advantageous.
• Good understanding of pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Experience with procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting.
• Able to manage workloads effectively and work independently when required.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Assist with cost planning, estimating, tender documentation and Bills of Quantities.
• Support procurement processes and the management of subcontract packages.
• Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports and final account information.
• Monitor project costs and assist with commercial reporting and change management.
• Attend client, site and project meetings as required.
• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors while developing responsibility for your own projects.
