Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Warrington, England. The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), a salary of £55,000–£65,000, and career progression within a growing team delivering a diverse portfolio across residential, healthcare, commercial and education sectors.

You will manage pre and post-contract QS duties, mentor junior staff, and contribute to successful commercial delivery on multiple projects in the Northern team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior QS level or ready to progress.
• Main contractor or contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience strongly preferred.
• Strong experience across pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Take commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to final account.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and financial reports.
• Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice and support to clients and project teams.
• Attend client and project meetings and develop strong working relationships.
• Support, mentor and develop junior and mid-level Quantity Surveyors.
