Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment LTD in Warrington is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the Northern team and lead on a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.

You will deliver full pre and post-contract QS services, manage procurement and final accounts, and mentor junior staff while building strong client relationships. This is a full-time, hybrid role with clear progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at Senior QS level or ready to progress.
• Main contractor or contractor-side Quantity Surveying experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong experience across both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying.
• Experience across a varied range of construction projects.
• Able to manage projects independently and take ownership of commercial delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio.
• Take commercial responsibility for projects from inception through to final account.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, Bills of Quantities, tender documentation and financial reports.
• Manage procurement, subcontract packages, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice and support to clients and project teams.
• Attend client and project meetings and develop strong working relationships.
• Support, mentor and develop junior and mid-level Quantity Surveyors.
