Job summary

Tetra Tech in Southampton is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the full lifecycle of cost and procurement management on technically complex construction projects. The hybrid role offers APC preparation and structured training to progress toward RICS Chartered status.

You will work with clients and technical teams to optimise value, manage financial risk and deliver projects across science, technology, higher education and public sector sectors from inception to completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc/BEng).
• Strong MS Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Full UK driving licence; security clearance eligibility desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost plans and early-stage estimates to inform project viability.
• Prepare tender and contract documentation aligned with industry standards.
• Assist in managing construction projects from inception to completion.
• Support procurement strategies that deliver best value outcomes.
