Job summary

Balvac, part of Balfour Beatty, is seeking a permanent Quantity Surveyor to support structural concrete repair, strengthening and refurbishment projects. The role is based in Warrington with hybrid working and occasional site visits to Derby and Leeds.

You will manage commercial and contractual work across multiple projects, including forecasts, budgets, changes, payment applications and cash flow, while maintaining reporting systems and monitoring final cost.

Qualifications

• Previous quantity surveying experience with a relevant BSc or MSc.
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, procurement and tendering.
• Civil engineering or infrastructure background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forecasts and manage budgets across multiple projects.
• Process changes, payment applications and monitor cash flow.
• Maintain reporting systems and track final costs.
• Administer subcontract tenders and subcontract accounts.
• Coordinate with customers, subcontractors and operations staff.
