Job summary

Balvac, a leading structural repair and refurbishment contractor and a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty, seeks a Site Agent to provide day-to-day management of Balvac and subcontract resources on infrastructure projects across the UK. You will oversee setting out, contract compliance, safety practices and programme delivery.

The role emphasizes leadership, coordination of teams, and ensuring works meet the contract specifications and quality targets.

Qualifications

Experience in delivery of structural repair/specialist repair projects.
Experience of working on Infrastructure schemes.
Ability to manage teams efficiently.
Ability to manage individual scheme costs.
Ability to manage Health and Safety including Behavioural Safety.
Ability to lead, communicate and influence with others to deliver targets.

Responsibilities

To provide the day-to-day management and supervision of Balvac and subcontract resources.
Manage the project team and supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards.
Ensure the Company procedures and policies i.e. the Business Management System are followed in delivery.
Understand the relevant Contract terms and conditions for the project.
Ensure that the works are constructed in accordance with the contract drawings, specification and Project Management Plan.
Manage site dimensional control ensuring that contractors have the facilities for setting out of the works.
