Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking a Quality Systems Manager for a food manufacturing site near Motherwell. The role focuses on owning the Quality Management System, ensuring audit readiness, and supporting FSQA initiatives within a hybrid-working, 9-12 month maternity cover contract.

The ideal candidate will bring strong QMS experience in food manufacturing, knowledge of GMP/HACCP/VACCP/TACCP, and proven audit leadership to maintain product safety and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Quality Management Systems in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable knowledge of GMP, HACCP, VACCP & TACCP.
• Previous experience leading or supporting internal and/or customer audits.
• Confidence in maintaining customer specifications & supplier approval questionnaires.

Responsibilities

• Managing and enhancing the site's Quality Management Systems, procedures and technical documentation.
• Coordinating audits, compliance activities and corrective action plans.
• Maintaining specifications, records and documentation for customer use.
• Collaborating with operational & technical teams to strengthen food safety, compliance and quality performance.
