Job summary

South West London and St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is recruiting a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) for the Talking Therapies service. The role is hybrid, based in Surbiton, and offers flexible hours with part-time or full-time options.

You will deliver step 2 interventions to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems using telephone, in-person, online, and group formats. The successful applicant will hold a PWP qualification, have excellent interpersonal skills, and

Qualifications

• Must have a PWP / IAPT low intensity qualification.
• Experience of working with people with mental health problems.
• Ability to work flexibly and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide a range of brief evidence-based step 2 interventions for people with mild to moderate mental health problems.
• Deliver interventions by telephone, face-to-face, online and in group settings.
• Develop and lead on special interests or service development initiatives where beneficial.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and participate in supervision and skill sessions.
