Job summary

SF Partners is seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our busy finance team on a temporary basis. The role is based in Wolverhampton with hybrid working: 3 days in the office initially for training, moving to 1 day in the office and 4 days remote. You will process supplier invoices, manage payments, and maintain supplier accounts.

The ideal candidate will have purchase ledger experience, be confident with Microsoft Dynamics, and able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase ledger, processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics is essential.
• Strong reconciling abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Matching, batching and coding invoices.
• Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts.
• Processing supplier payment runs via BACS and other payment methods.
• Preparing and processing supplier payments to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies.
• Dealing with supplier queries and resolving invoice and payment issues.
• Managing outstanding invoices and ensuring payment deadlines are met.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team.
