SF Partners in Coventry is seeking a hands-on Purchase Ledger Manager to lead a small team of three in a busy ledger operation. You will oversee day-to-day processing, ensure supplier invoices are accurate and paid on time, and provide cover for payroll when required.

This hybrid role offers flexible hours, on-site parking and 25 days’ annual leave as part of a growing business that values process improvements and strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a purchase ledger team.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Some payroll experience with ability to provide cover when needed.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Managing, supporting and developing a team of three purchase ledger staff.
• Overseeing the end-to-end purchase ledger process.
• Ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Managing supplier payments and statement reconciliations.
• Resolving supplier queries and discrepancies.
• Monitoring team performance and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Supporting month-end processes and reporting.
• Providing cover and support for payroll processing when required.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
