Job summary

Adaptable Recruitment are working with a thriving organisation based in Speke, Liverpool, seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on an ongoing temporary basis. The role offers hybrid working, 35 hours per week and a salary of GBP26,500 to GBP28,000 per annum.

You will manage supplier invoices, run payment runs, reconcile statements and support financial controls while providing a reliable service to internal teams. Attention to detail and Excel proficiency are essential for timely payments.

Qualifications

• Experience of making supplier payments within an accounts payable department.
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the full range of administrative and financial activity to ensure processing of invoices and timely payments to contractors and suppliers.
• Provide clear advice to suppliers and colleagues on Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
• Maintain and review system records to ensure accurate data and investigate invoice issues.
• Reconcile supplier statements with internal records and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments and invoice processing.
• Manage specific suppliers and build working relationships to ensure accurate invoices.
