Job summary

Morgan Law is looking for an experienced Procurement & Contracts Specialist to join the Finance team in Camberley. The role covers end-to-end procurement for goods, services and works, with guidance on legislation and best practice. You will work in a collaborative environment with hybrid working combining office and home days.

You will develop sourcing strategies, manage eTendering, negotiate contracts and drive value-for-money procurement across local government projects.

Qualifications

• Proven UK public sector procurement experience.
• Strong understanding of procurement legislation and governance.
• Experience managing end-to-end tendering exercises using an electronic eSourcing portal.
• Ability to develop procurement strategies and manage competitive tenders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement and tender exercises for Goods, Services and Works.
• Lead procurement projects through an electronic eSourcing portal.
• Develop sourcing strategies and category management plans.
• Prepare procurement documents including specifications and Invitations to Tender.
• Conduct spend analysis and identify savings opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and support supplier performance management.
• Provide procurement advice and training across the organisation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance and service teams to ensure compliant solutions.
• Promote social value and sustainability in procurement.
