Langland Consultants Ltd. invites applications for an IT Procurement and Contracts Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities within UK public sector regulations.

The role focuses on managing a large contract portfolio, ensuring best value, and collaborating with internal stakeholders in a hybrid Chesterfield-based setup. The role demands strong knowledge of procurement lifecycle, policy implementation, and reporting across contracts, with a focus on compliance and strategic spend

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK public sector procurement regulations
• Experience managing a contract pipeline
• Ability to lead end-to-end procurement of contracts
• Able to ensure best value and budget maximisation
• Excellent communication with internal stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of contracts within regulatory and statutory obligations
• Verify, modify and extend appropriate contracts
• Process review, support and guidance with follow up improvement plans for staff within the Digital & Technology team
• Implement corporate policies and procedures into commercial activity
• Collaboration with the central procurement team ensuring compliance with UK public sector procurement regulations
• Manage a wide variety of contracts, from single-item purchases to full data centre solutions
• Ensure successful management and reporting across the contract lifecycle in line with UK public sector procurement regulations
• Analysis of historic and future IT spend and engage with IT leaders to collectively agree a plan to work towards
• Understand social values and the business needs to enable them to effectively compete for contracts
