Job summary

North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board seeks an organised Public Inquiry and Assurance Officer to support high-profile inquiries and assurance work across a 3.1 million population region.

You will coordinate multi-stakeholder projects, manage sensitive information, and develop reporting and dashboards for senior leaders. Travel and occasional out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level education or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating complex projects, programmes or assurance workstreams across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience handling highly sensitive or confidential information.
• Experience in governance, compliance, investigations, complaints, legal, risk or public sector environments.
• Knowledge of records management and information governance requirements.
• Experience producing high-quality reports, briefings and assurance documentation for senior review.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a complex portfolio covering public inquiries, statutory investigations, disclosure and governance work.
• Connect teams across governance, complaints, information governance and operations to avoid duplication.
• Review and organise evidence for inquiries, investigations and disclosure.
• Analyse complaints and feedback to identify risks, themes and learning for inquiries.
• Maintain chronologies, trackers, records and audit trails.
• Produce reports, briefings and assurance updates for senior leaders.
