North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board seeks an experienced Corporate Governance Officer to contribute to sound decision-making for health and care services across 3.1 million people. You will ensure compliance with governance frameworks, policies and legislation, and support senior colleagues with governance improvements.

The role requires degree-level education or equivalent, substantial governance/risk experience, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifikationen

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Substantial experience in corporate governance and/or risk management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate the committee secretariat function and support effective committee management, including minute taking.
• Provide specialist governance and procedural guidance to colleagues at all levels.
• Maintain governance documents and committee registers of interests.
• Prepare clear, timely reports for the Board and its committees.
• Support Chairs during committee meetings.
• Deliver corporate governance training.
• Identify emerging risks and support governance improvement work.
• Manage and develop relevant support staff.
