Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking a Project Support Analyst on a 12-month contract based in Bolton. The role requires advanced Excel use (lookup, conditional formulas, pivot tables), Power Query/Power BI experience, and SAP MM familiarity.

Hybrid work with 3 days onsite per week; 37 hours per week, £30/hour, Inside IR35 (Umbrella). You will support Manufacturing project teams, maintain project KPIs, and help manage risk, opportunities, and cost across missile/test equipment projects

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Officer / Project Coordinator / Project Support.
• Proficiency with Excel, including lookups, conditional formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
• Power Query and Power BI report maintenance experience desirable.
• Experience with SAP materials management system.
• Primavera 6 planning tool is preferred but not essential.
• PM certification would be an advantage.
• At least 3 years of project support experience in engineering/manufacturing.
• Support project managers in coordination, planning and control of projects.
• MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly report project KPIs.
• Act as interface within Manufacturing to support programme delivery, quality and cost.
• Present information at internal reviews and meetings.
• Assist with risk and opportunity management.
• Assist in compiling Manufacturing estimates and cost at completions.
• Assist in workload forecast compilation and analysis.
• Create and maintain project programmes and schedules.
• Maintain interfaces with internal customers and external departments.
