Job summary

WSP in London & South East is seeking an experienced leader to guide a portfolio of complex highways and infrastructure projects. You will act as Project Director, oversee multi-disciplinary teams, and drive delivery within a commercial environment.

Qualifications

• Broad highways experience across civil engineering and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff and recruit.
• Strong commercial and strategic capabilities with a track record of winning work.
• Effective change management and clear communication on cost, time, and quality.
• Excellent client, stakeholder, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Designers’ Duties under CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and role-modelling; promote inclusion and staff development.
• Line management, mentoring, recruitment, and resource utilisation.
• Promote One WSP culture and collaborate to deliver services.
• Manage client relationships and set expectations.
• Act as Project Director for performance and financial targets.
• Lead capture/bidding for major infrastructure opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership across London & South East and offshore teams.
• Shape regional strategy through quality and excellence.
