Job summary

Kier is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team in Lincoln. The role spans office and site visits with some home-working flexibility, focusing on Clean Water projects across the Anglian Water region.

The day-to-day includes supporting the delivery manager, evaluating solutions, ensuring governance and CDM compliance, and coordinating design, programme and costs for construction handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Clean Water projects.
• Temporary works coordination or supervision experience.
• Delivery of capital projects within the water sector.
• Management of Construction Design and Management regulations.
• Commercial awareness when working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the project delivery manager in Anglian Water project needs.
• Assess solutions with whole life cost and risk considerations.
• Develop solutions in line with governance, safety standards and legal requirements.
• Ensure design, programme, cost and CDM requirements are ready for construction handover.
• Help capture assets and costs in corporate systems.
