Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Site Manager to lead infrastructure projects in Northampton and the Anglian Water region. You will oversee day-to-day operations, manage delivery teams, and ensure safety, quality and environmental performance across projects.

The role emphasizes strong programme and budget management, collaboration with delivery teams, and relationships with client staff to exceed performance targets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the water industry
• SMSTS certified, CSCS card, NRSWA supervisor and EUSR qualifications
• First Aid at Work, Confined Space, IOSH COSHH Management courses
• Strong programme and budget management with commercial awareness
• Excellent relationship builder capable of collaborative working

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based teams, delivery supervisors and subcontractors through full lifecycle
• Manage projects to deliver on time, to specification and within budget
• Ensure site personnel hold required qualifications and implement safety, quality and environmental procedures
• Build strong relationships with client operations staff to meet KPIs
• Identify risks, drive improvements and monitor programmes throughout the project
