Job summary

Midland Heart seeks an experienced Project Delivery Manager to own complex projects from mobilisation through to implementation and transition. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage plans, budgets and risks, and tailor delivery approaches to each initiative.

The role is based in Bath Row, Birmingham with at least three days in the office and some homeworking options. You will ensure governance, successful transition to operations and realise expected benefits, while coordinating business

Qualifications

• Recognised project management qualification such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent
• Strong judgement and ownership of delivery decisions
• Understanding of different delivery methodologies and when to adapt
• Strong forecasting and financial variances awareness
• Influencing stakeholders to sustain delivery momentum
• Proactive risk, problem-solving and recovery when delivery moves off track

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects and initiatives throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate the development of business cases and inputs for investment decisions.
• Develop and manage integrated plans, milestones, budgets and resources.
• Tailor delivery approaches (predictive, agile, iterative, or hybrid) to the initiative.
• Lead multidisciplinary delivery teams and hold workstream leads and suppliers accountable.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change.
• Monitor delivery and financial performance and intervene early when needed.
• Maintain governance, assurance and project controls.
• Coordinate implementation, transition and handover into operational use.
