Job summary

NHS Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex projects within the Supply Chain Modernisation programme. You will drive multi-disciplinary initiatives, ensuring benefits are realised and aligned with our transformation goals.

The role is hybrid with Nottingham office on-site two days per week, offering a starting salary of £65,920 with potential to £77,553 over three years plus a £7,000 car allowance, plus extensive benefits and development

Qualifications

Recognised programme or project management qualification (e.g. MSP Foundation/Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent).
Experience managing multiple interdependent projects and workstreams within a structured delivery framework.
Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of complex projects / a sub-programme within the Supply Chain Modernisation Programme, ensuring alignment to programme objectives and priorities.
Lead the delivery of large-scale operational, technology, digital and knowledge-related programmes and projects, ensuring successful integration across people, process, data and technology.
Ensure consistent control and alignment across multiple sub-programmes / projects / workstreams.
Drive delivery against time, quality and cost from an individual project as well as overarching sub-programme / programme perspective.
Proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are developed and escalated where required.
