NHS Supply Chain is recruiting a Programme Manager for the Supply Chain Modernisation delivery in Nottingham. This hybrid role requires two days on site with the rest remote, offering a starting salary of £65,920 rising to £77,553 with a £7,000 car allowance over three years.

You will lead multi-disciplinary projects, ensure alignment to programme objectives and deliver benefits for patients and the business through effective governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Recognised programme or project management qualification (MSP/PRINCE2/APM) or equivalent.
• Experience delivering large-scale programmes and complex transformations.
• Experience managing multiple interdependent workstreams within a structured delivery framework.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder environments and stakeholder management.
• Proven ability to identify risks, issues and dependencies with mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex projects or a sub-programme within the Supply Chain Modernisation Programme.
• Oversee large-scale operational, technology, digital and knowledge-related programmes and ensure integration across people, process, data and technology.
• Maintain alignment and governance across sub-programmes and workstreams.
• Drive delivery against time, quality and cost for individual projects and the overall programme.
• Proactively identify risks and dependencies and escalate where required.

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for an experienced Programme Managerto join our Supply Chain Modernisation programme during an exciting period of complex transformation. This role will play a key part in driving the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects / a sub-programme within the overarching programme that underpin our long-term transformation goals and organisational vision. The programme will impact many parts of the organisation as well as our customers and suppliers. Effective programme and project delivery is critical to ensuring that change is implemented successfully and that expected benefits and outcomes are realised for patients, customers and the business.

Every day you will …

• Lead the delivery of complex projects / a sub-programme within the Supply Chain Modernisation Programme, ensuring alignment to programme objectives and priorities
• Lead the delivery of large-scale operational, technology, digital and knowledge-related programmes and projects, ensuring successful integration across people, process, data and technology.
• Ensure consistent control and alignment across multiple sub-programmes / projects / workstreams
• Drive delivery against time, quality and cost from an individual project as well as overarching sub-programme / programme perspective.
• Proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are developed and escalated where required.
