Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to join our Supply Chain Modernisation programme during a period of complex transformation. This role will drive the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary projects and sub-programmes that underpin our long-term transformation goals and organisational vision.

You will lead large-scale operational, technology, digital and knowledge-related programmes, ensure alignment across sub-programmes, and manage risks, issues and dependencies

Qualifications

• Recognised programme or project management qualification (e.g. MSP Foundation/Practitioner, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent).
• Experience managing multiple interdependent projects and workstreams within a structured delivery framework.
• Experience working within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects / a sub-programme within the Supply Chain Modernisation Programme, ensuring alignment to programme objectives and priorities.
• Lead the delivery of large-scale operational, technology, digital and knowledge-related programmes and projects, ensuring successful integration across people, process, data and technology.
• Ensure consistent control and alignment across multiple sub-programmes / projects / workstreams
• Drive delivery against time, quality and cost from an individual project as well as overarching sub-programme / programme perspective.
• Proactively identify risks, issues and dependencies ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are developed and escalated where required.
