Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Programme Coordinator to join the Falmer/Durrington hybrid team. The role offers exposure to senior leadership, involvement in strategic decision-making, and hands-on responsibility in the Water and Wastewater Asset Strategy and Planning functions.

Ideal candidates will have a degree or equivalent experience, be highly organized, and proficient in Excel and Power BI, with a view to growing in programme management or related fields within the water sector.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Power BI essential.
• Experience in finance or project support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating internal and regulatory commitments with progress tracking and reporting across key projects.
• Provide senior stakeholders with visibility over milestones, risks, and blockers.
• Budget oversight and financial coordination for a c.£0.5m budget, including POs, invoices, and spend forecasting.
• Regulatory reporting programme support with clearly owned lines, timescales, and communication with Regulatory Reporting Team.
• Information gathering and analysis to produce reports, visuals and insights using Excel and Power BI.
