Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Production Planner in Gloucestershire to own the planning function across two sites. You will analyse production requirements, manage schedules and collaborate with procurement, engineering and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery and efficient stock levels.

The role offers autonomy and multi-site exposure. The ideal candidate has proven manufacturing experience, strong analytical skills and the ability to establish robust planning processes with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to define and set up processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, direct communication skills.
• Full UK Driving licence (multi-site cover).

Responsibilities

• Define and establish robust, standardised planning processes.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, engineering and manufacturing.
• Analyse customer forecasts and production requirements.
• Establish material demand and capacity needs.
• Own the production schedule for 2 sites.
• Monitor work center capacity in MRP.
• Issue the weekly Work to List to Production at each site.
• Generate manufacturing Works Orders from MRP.
• Ensure optimal production method is used when raising them.
• Monitor inventory levels to maintain efficient business operation.
• Recommend and maintain stock levels on purchased components.
