Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions in Gloucester and Swindon is seeking an experienced Production Planner to own production scheduling, materials planning and capacity management across two sites.

You will drive improvements to ERP/MRP data, manage BOMs, routings and lead times, and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality to resolve shortages.

The role offers a salary of £50,000-£52,000, private healthcare, a company pension, and employee share options, with UK travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven production planning or manufacturing scheduling experience.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
• Experience with BOMs, manufacturing routings and capacity planning.
• Good understanding of materials planning, inventory control and stock accuracy.
• Confident working with manufacturing teams and managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Managing the master production schedule across two manufacturing sites.
• Planning manufacturing capacity, materials, labour and equipment requirements.
• Raising production works orders and maintaining accurate manufacturing schedules.
• Improving ERP and MRP data, including bills of materials, routings, lead times and work centres.
• Coordinating stock control, inventory management and material availability.
• Working closely with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality to resolve shortages and scheduling conflicts.
