Job summary

AMS is seeking a Production Controller for a 12 month contract based in Barnoldswick. The role is hybrid—3 days on site, 2 days remote—requiring strong production planning and SAP/MRP skills.

You will manage a defined portfolio of engine components for Defence and Civil programmes, ensuring plans meet customer delivery requirements and data integrity within SAP. Umbrella or PAYE engagement models only.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Strong SAP and ERP data integrity skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Experience with delivery and material planning in relevant industries would help.

Responsibilities

• Realign short-term production and delivery plans with customer requirements.
• Maintain MRP data and planning in SAP with ERP compliance.
• Identify and manage material shortages and delivery risks.
• Collaborate with Production Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Manage subcontractors with regular delivery reviews and SLA monitoring.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics to despatch components.
• Own production planning and inventory governance.
