Job summary

MBDA UK Bolton site seeks an experienced Manufacturing Planning and Control Manager to lead the MP&C team, delivering the Manufacturing Planning Schedule on time and to budget. Reports to Head of Operations and works across SAP, MRP and supply chain.

You will develop the MPS, manage SAP MRP data, collaborate with production and logistics, drive continuous improvement and KPI tracking, and support end-to-end planning across projects. On-site Bolton, security clearances required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in supply chain management in manufacturing.
• APICS / supply chain cert desirable but not essential.
• Experience using SAP or equivalent MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Lead MP&C team to deliver MPS on time, cost and quality.
• Develop the MPS in line with production schedules.
• Manage MPS within SAP enabling production and material orders.
• Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams for end-to-end planning.
• Drive S&OP process and KPI development for MP&C.
• Upgrade reporting, tools and processes to simplify planning.
